Ourspace Creative partnered with Lansing Community College to elevate its identity as The People’s College, a welcoming and accessible institution where anyone can find opportunity, belonging, and a path toward their future.

Through an ongoing creative partnership, Ourspace led the direction, production, and storytelling for a comprehensive multimedia campaign that highlighted seven of LCC’s most impactful programs: Early Childhood Education, Nursing, EMS, Massage Therapy, Aviation Maintenance (AIS), Mechatronics, and Technical Careers.

Our team directed and produced multiple on-campus shoots and two major college events, capturing authentic stories from students, instructors, real learning environments, and a monthly batch of social-media ready reels. From concept to final edit, we managed video production, photography, and on-site coordination to ensure each piece reflected the college’s mission of access and inclusion.

The partnership culminated in the creation of LCC’s flagship “You Belong Here” commercial, a cinematic campaign that celebrates diversity, ambition, and the power of education to transform lives. Complemented by short-form content and photography for digital and social platforms, the campaign strengthened LCC’s voice as a statewide leader in workforce development and community-centered education.
