Lansing Equitable Economic Development (LEED) Initiative

Ourspace Creative partnered with the Lansing Economic Development Corporation to document and celebrate the final phase of its Lansing Equitable Economic Development (LEED) initiative, a multi-year effort focused on advancing inclusive growth and opportunity across the city.

As the initiative concluded, Ourspace was commissioned to capture its lasting impact through a comprehensive creative campaign. We directed and produced a series of short-form videos, including a flagship promotional film for SEED Academy, LEDC’s real estate developer training program. The video highlighted the program’s mission to empower diverse local developers and expand equitable access to development opportunities.

The campaign also featured a spotlight on LEDC’s Enhancement Grant Program, which showcased how it helped small businesses improve storefronts, attract new customers, and strengthen neighborhood corridors.

Beyond video, Ourspace led graphic design, newsletter design, and content strategy to create a cohesive visual identity for the LEED initiative. Each component worked together to tell a story of progress, collaboration, and community transformation.

From scripting and direction to scheduling, production logistics, and final delivery, Ourspace Creative managed every aspect of the project, producing a clear and human-centered narrative that positioned LEDC as a leader in equitable economic growth and storytelling.
