LEDC LEED INITIATIVE

For the Lansing Equitable Economic Development (LEED) Initiative, Ourspace Creative partnered with LEDC to shape the strategy behind how the initiative was positioned, communicated, and shared with the community. The work focused on clarifying key messages, identifying target audiences, aligning storytelling across programs, and building a communications approach that could support awareness, participation, recruitment, and future funding.

Ourspace then translated that strategy into a coordinated campaign across video, design, social media, email, media outreach, and website content. The goal was not just to create assets, but to build a consistent narrative around equitable economic development, highlight participant impact, and strengthen LEDC’s position as a leader in inclusive growth and community development.

Recruitment

We also led the recruitment strategy for the Lansing SEED Academy, helping shape the messaging, audience approach, and campaign materials used to attract aspiring developers into the program. Ourspace produced recruitment-focused video content that explained the value of the program, highlighted access to mentorship, funding resources, and professional networks, and gave potential participants a clearer picture of who SEED was built for and why they should apply.
